The 2023 Small Agency Conference last week was a great success! Thank you to Chief Ken Rueben, Lt. Nick Troxel and others in the Small Agency committee for their work organizing and facilitating this worthwhile event. Thanks also to OACP members Chief Ken Rueben, (Ret.) Chief Jeff Groth, and (Ret.) Chief Jim Ferraris for the information they presented. Other speakers were on the agenda and provided valuable information and resources. And a special thanks goes to Chief Shanon Anderson for hosting this event at OSU, providing conference space, lunch on Wednesday, coffee and snacks.

"Without a doubt, this was the best “Chief’s” conference I have attended in all my years of being a member of the OACP.  The information taught and shared is information that I will use and implement immediately.  The issues brought up and discussed were focused and valuable. The setting of the conference allowed a lot of sharing and bouncing of ideas between all of the small agencies in attendance. A huge shout out to Jeff Groth, Ken Rueben and Jim Ferraris for keeping the conference focused and engaging. The experience of these three LE professionals and the vast amounts of knowledge they have and were able to convey was amazing. I want to thank the OACP for supporting this conference and I hope this support continues."
