Thomas Rizzo Walk the Talk Consultants, LLC

As the dust settled from the September 11th attacks in 2001, Thomas Rizzo began his law enforcement career as a Patrolman with the Middlesex Borough Police Department (NJ). In 2004, he was hired by the Howell Township Police Department (NJ), where he is currently serving as the Investigations Division Commander at the rank of Captain.
In 2019, he founded Walk the Talk Consultants, where he currently instructs courses he built based upon leadership philosophies, resiliency, wellness, and career fulfillment titled, “Ivory Tower,” “Operation L.E.A.D.,” and “Trust in Teams,” which have been presented nationally in over 40 states.
In 2021, he published his first book, Copikaze, based upon a series of lessons to help navigate a career in the field of law enforcement and to clarify some of the industry intricacies for civilians, which reached #1 on Amazon Best-Sellers’ list. Read More

The OACP offers a $2,000 scholarship to assist one Chief to attend the annual International Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference. The scholarship is awarded on a point-system basis. Applications need to be submitted by March 31. For information on this scholarship and an application form, click here.
