Handgun Firearms Training:

When: Tuesday, September 27 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Where: DPSST Range Facilities 4190 Aumsville Hwy, Salem, OR 97317
Instructors: DPSST Basic Academy Range Staff

This FREE 4-hour class will provide an overview of the handgun qualification that recruits (basic police, armed parole and probation) are now required to complete at the academy. There will be other related skill building drills along for an opportunity for Q & A directly with DPSST firearms coordinator regarding the context of recently updated curriculum. Please indicate your interest on the conference registration form or contact Jim de Dully at DPSST - [email protected].
Supplies/Equipment Needed: A reliable duty handgun chambered in either 9mm, .40cal, 45acp or .357 sig. All ammunition is provided by DPSST. A duty type holster, belt, magazine carriers with a minimum of 3 magazines, ballistic vest, brimmed hat, eye protection, flashlight(s). Pen and note taking material. Water bottle, snacks.
Dress for a non-climate controlled indoor range, conditions will likely be very warm.
