"Frequently Asked Questions" of the Conference

It's been a while since we've gathered for an in-person Annual Conference, so we thought it would be helpful to anticipate some of your questions about the event. Click here for the FAQs.

Meet our last  Conference Presenter

Chief John Carli
Cordico
Topic: “Leading During Unprecedented Times:
Session 1: Executive Wellness
Session 2: Preparing the Next Generation"

Chief John Carli is an innovator and pioneer regarding employee wellness and best practices in law enforcement leadership. Recognizing the gap between first responders in crisis and the need for early prevention strategies, Carli embarked on implementing a radical culture shift to create psychological resiliency for front-line workers. John’s preventive approach to promoting this culture of wellness led to the technical development of a unique “Law Enforcement Wellness App” in partnership with Cordico and highlighted at the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) national town-hall meeting in New York, focusing on reducing police officer suicides, which is now recognized internationally as the gold standard in wellness.

Chief Carli is a nationally recognized authority regarding technology, use-of-force and de-escalation in policing, public trust and police legitimacy, and legislative and policy development.

Word has it that there will be a Yeti cooler, a Vortex scope, a Yeti Hopper (soft sided cooler), a guided salmon fishing trip for two, a stained glass art piece designed by OACP member, Colene Domenech, and some other cool items. Come prepared to bid on one or more of these.
