The OACP congratulates Chief Don Parise, Hubbard PD's new chief. Chief Parise began his public safety career in 1993 as a Dispatcher for Salem PD and was later hired as a full-time officer with Salem. In the course of his 30+ years in law enforcement, he has also served at Keizer PD, Marion County Sheriff's Office, and as the Interim Chief of Police in Hubbard in 2017. He currently serves as a member of the Law Enforcement Down Response Team with the Oregon Fallen Badge Foundation. The OACP wishes him great success in this new role. Pictured above left is Chief Parise with Hubbard's former chief, Dave Rash, and Chief Damian Flowers (Aumsville PD). Consider Applying for the 2024 IACP Scholarship

The OACP offers a $2,000 scholarship to assist one Chief to attend the annual International Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference. The scholarship is awarded on a point-system basis. Applications need to be submitted by March 31.  For information on this scholarship and an application form, click here. When applying, please make sure you are using version 2022.1 (located in bottom left corner of form).
