As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each of you and to the agencies you lead across our great state.

Serving as President of the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police has been an honor, and I am continually inspired by the professionalism, integrity, and commitment you demonstrate every day. This past year has brought its share of challenges, but it has also highlighted the strength of our relationships, the value of collaboration, and the dedication of those who serve our communities with courage and compassion.

I am deeply appreciative of the work being done not only by our chiefs, but by the officers, professional staff, and support teams who make public safety possible. Your leadership matters, and the example you set has a lasting impact on the people and communities we serve.

As we enter the holiday season, I encourage you to take time to rest, reflect, and connect with family, friends, and loved ones. The work we do is demanding, and moments of renewal are essential to sustaining ourselves and one another.

On behalf of the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police, I wish you and your families a safe, healthy, and peaceful holiday season. I look forward to continuing our work together in the coming year as we strengthen our profession and support one another across Oregon. For those working over the holiday time, please be safe!
