Thank you to the sponsors of the Small Agency Conference:

This fall, the OACP invites our members to take a stroll down memory lane. For those who have been with us for several years we hope to rekindle cherished memories. For our newer members, we hope you enjoy the journey. Soon these moments will become your own treasured memories.

Jim Carlton (Redmond) recognizes two-time OACP President Jim Jones (Ontario).

OACP President Ron Goodpaster (Tigard) recognizes Oregon Attorney General Dave Frohnmayer for his support of law enforcement.

As we take a look back on some memorable moments from the awards ceremonies over the years, it's important to look forward as well.  The awards committee, led this year by Co-chairs Chief Dave Rash and Chief Jason Wade, with contributions from long-time award committee members Chief Rick Stokoe, Ret. Chief Mark Miranda, Ret. Chief Stan Grubbs, and Ret. Chief Mike Moran, is excited about revitalizing member recognition at our Annual Conference. The aim is to honor the contributions of OACP members across Oregon while celebrating exceptional achievements and commitment to OACP's mission in a fresh way. One of the ways we plan on doing this is leaving the ties and suits at home this next awards banquet, and instead, getting a bit more comfortable in jeans and button down shirts. Country Rock band Music Medicine will help set the tone.

OACP Executive Staff Larry Campbell, Karlyn Campbell and Kevin Campbell pose with Chief Leonard Cardwell (Umatilla Tribal) at OACP’s Awards Banquet.

During covid when an in-person conference wasn’t possible, Chief Kris Allison presented Chief Robert Kappelman with an OACP award.

OACP President Ken Wright (Woodburn) presents Chief Jim Soules (Prineville) with an award of recognition.

OACP President Tom McCann recognizes Chief John Courtney (La Grande)  and Chief Bob Tardiff (Newberg).
