In a profession where so much is given without expectation of recognition, taking the time to acknowledge exceptional service matters. Whether it is a heroic act, years of quiet dedication, or an individual whose efforts consistently strengthen their agency and community, these stories deserve to be brought to light.
Please consider submitting a nomination - and share this opportunity with city leaders, agency staff, and others who may know someone deserving of recognition but may not realize an OACP award opportunity exists.
Need a little inspiration? Take a look below at some of the outstanding individuals recognized during the 2026 OACP Recognition of Achievement & Excellence Banquet.
