IACP Conference 2023 - San Diego, California

Cruising with fellow Oregon law enforcement leaders in San Diego
San Diego Bay provided a perfect backdrop for fellow Oregonians to enjoy an evening sail on the Nerissa Yacht. Not only did they enjoy a beautiful sunset and good conversation, but thanks to sponsors Day Wireless and Fight Crime: Invest in Kids, appetizers and drinks were covered, and contributed to the fun and relaxed evening. We decided to try something different than the usual dinner out (did we mention how expensive group meals are in San Diego!) and rented out a yacht all to ourselves. Based on feedback received, it was a success.

Stepping in to lend a hand...

Chloe Campbell-Haller stepped in to join her dad, Kevin Campbell, Executive Director of the OACP, at the last minute to take mom, Marie's place at the IACP Conference. Chloe jumped in and fully participated in in the SACOP meetings (State Association Chiefs of Police), walked the halls of the Trade Show recruiting future vendors and sponsors, and helped get the boat afloat with 49 folks from Oregon who joined the evening sunset cruise. Thanks Chloe for your willingness to lend the association a hand.
