The OACP Board of Directors gathered today in Bend for the Summer Board Meeting, where new members were approved, committee updates were shared, preparations for the upcoming legislative session were discussed, and much more.
A sincere thank you to the Executive Board and District Representatives who dedicate their time to representing their districts and helping move the Association forward through their leadership, engagement, and commitment to Oregon law enforcement.
A special thank you as well to those who joined via video conference. The demands of leading a law enforcement agency don't always allow for time away from the community, yet many still made time to participate between meetings, calls for service, and the countless responsibilities that come with the profession. Your continued involvement - whether in the room or on the screen - is greatly appreciated.

OACP is pleased to welcome three new District Representatives to the Board of Directors. Chief Chris Fluellen (District 1 – Scappoose), Chief Jason Hays (District 15 – La Grande), and Chief Tony Nelson (District 16 – Pendleton) were officially appointed during today's Board Meeting.
Each has a strong record of service to their own community and will now represent an even broader region of Oregon, serving as a voice for the agencies and communities within their respective districts. District Representatives play a vital role in sharing local updates, identifying regional needs, and ensuring that agencies of every size, including those serving Oregon's smallest communities, have a seat at the table. OACP looks forward to their leadership and the perspectives they will bring to the Board.
