EXECUTIVE RESOURCES PROGRAMS:
1. Interim Executive Leadership Assistance Program (Linebacker):Provides interim Police Dept. leadership to cities during periods when a vacancy has occurred in the office of the Chief of Police.

2. Agency Review Program (ARP):Provides management consulting and technical assistance to member chiefs of police and to departments whose Chief is a member of OACP. ARP provides a service for departments, in coordination with their Police Chief, to receive a professional review of police operations and management systems, utilizing recognized law enforcement best practices standards.

Donation to Special Olympics Oregon
OACP members have always been committed to the good work of SOOR, whether it's participating in the polar plunge and the law enforcement torch run, or cheering on and celebrating Special Olympic athletes' victories on the field and court. This is why we are pleased to announce that the OACP Board recently made the decision to donate $4500 for the ongoing work of SOOR. Thank you to all our members who understand the value of this important outreach, and choose to get behind their efforts.

Violent Extremism in America: Understanding the Threat Presented by Sara Winegar Budge
In January 2023, the ELTS Conference in Seaside included a presentation by Sara Winegar Budge entitled Violent Extremism in America: Understanding the Threat. Violent extremism represents an ongoing and growing threat to law enforcement professionals. This presentation provides an overview of contemporary violent extremist movements, their targets and tactics, and the range of threats posed to law enforcement and the communities they serve.
