Tips and tools for making your association experience a smooth one.

OACP Social Media Platforms: Boost Your Agency’s Reach

OACP’s social platforms aren’t just for announcements – they’re here to help your agency shine. Here’s how:

  • Highlight Your Community Impact – Sharing images from neighborhood events helps residents see your officers as approachable and invested, strengthening long-term community relationships.

  • Amplify Your Story – When you share your agency’s images, OACP can re-share them to a statewide audience, building transparency, a positive public perception, community pride, and momentum for future events.

  • Reach More Job Seekers – Agency job postings are now boosted for maximum visibility, ensuring more qualified candidates see your opening.

  • Showcase Conference Value – Conference images highlight attendees’ dedication to ongoing education and training, and sharing them allows your community to see that investment firsthand.

Let’s tell your agency’s story together:

Presentation Topic: "The Situation Table: A Collaborative Effort to Address Acutely Elevated Risk."

Presentation Overview:  Law enforcement officials routinely interact with individuals and families who are at acutely elevated risk, but it is often beyond our abilities to find solutions.  The Situation Table is a proven, structured process that brings a wide array of service providers together to tailor a response that quickly engages those at risk with services.  These efforts will not only provide positive outcomes for those at risk, but result in better collaboration, increased communication, and reduced calls for service.
