Although these Presidents Awards were given by then President Jim Ferraris, OACP's current President Chief Matt Scales had the honor of presenting. The award was given for Dave and Mitch's work on pivoting from an in-person conference to an online option. The award read "Dave and Mitch helped lead the effort to provide our membership with quality and valuable training in a virtual format. Their unprecedented effort kept our membership connected, informed, strong and well-trained in the face of public event shutdowns. Their efforts forged the way for future virtual training to the benefit of our members."
