Another peek into the Fall Conference:
|
Thank you to all who attended the Fall conference at DPSST. Top speakers, according to the evaluations, were Dan Willis and Dave Mathers (pictured at the top). Information presented by Marsha Morin, Scott Willadsen (both pictured above), and Mike Herb, all of whom are from DPSST, was valuable. Read some of the encouraging quotes about the presenters:
"Loved this presentation because I think it is so relevant. We need leaders who build relational trust within their departments." (response to Sidney Dekker's presentation)
"I agree this training is essential for new recruits with refresher training for those who've been on the job for a while. Most newer recruits struggle with confrontation and verbal de-escalation." (response to Robert King's presentation)
"How can this not be useful? This was excellent. We are a small agency with very little to no wellness program. That is going to change." (response to Dan Willis' presentation)
"This man was the last presenter of the conference and kept almost everybody in the room until he was finished. He could have had a longer presentation and we would have watched it to the end. Excellent." (response to Dave Mather's presentation)
If you have not already filled out the conference evaluation form, please do so now. We appreciate your feedback and take all comments into consideration when planning future conferences. Thank you!
