NEW OREGON CHIEFS
The OACP congratulates the following new Oregon chiefs. They are not yet OACP members, so feel free to reach out, congratulate them on their new role, and encourage them to become a member.

Gearhart PD

Chief Josh Gregory became the new Chief of Police of Gearhart PD in May. He began his career in law enforcement in Arkansas. Chief Gregory later came to Oregon and has served in various roles at Cannon Beach PD and Seaside PD.

Courageously Interrupting Bias
Presented by Kori Carew

In May 2021, included in the Virtual Annual Conference lineup was a presentation by Kori Carew entitled Courageously Interrupting Bias. (1 Credit Hour)

Kori helps individuals and organizations bridge differences and opportunities, create belonging and inclusive cultures where diversity can thrive, and advocate for the muted and silenced in advancement of equity and justice.

Active Members:
Commander Jincy Pace, Hillsboro PD
Chief John Carter, Reedsport PD
Chief Marty Case, Cow Creek PD

Associate Members:
Lieutenant Aaron Thomas, Klamath Falls PD
Sergeant Andrew Hutchinson, Gladstone PD
Lieutenant Shane Wilson, Prineville PD
Lieutenant Donald Lane, Medford PD

Jincy Pace - Jincy enjoys SCUBA diving when possible, would love to take a GIANT European vacation (4-5 weeks long), and enjoys a really good pizza.

John Carter - John is a numismatist (not gonna lie - we had to look that up) and enjoys photography, and 80’s music. He'd like to vacation in Las Vegas or Hawaii, and his go-to food is tacos.

Marty Case - Marty enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and generally being outdoors. He likes to travel with his wife and will take a cruise any day! He believes 80's music is the way to go, with country being a close second (but not the old-school country). Mexican food is his go-to, but he won't turn down a good steak with seafood.

Aaron Thomas - Aaron has a commercial bee/pollination business on the side. He travels the world regularly, usually scuba diving. If he could go anywhere, he'd choose Tibet. He has a wonderful wife who would let him eat lasagna every day for dinner if he wanted to.

Andrew Hutchinson - Andrew keeps busy as a father of 4, but when given the opportunity he enjoys working out, running, reading science fiction novels, playing board games and video games. He would love a week's vacation in Hawaii with a pitstop in Anaheim to go to Disneyland. He loves pizza, specifically a taco pizza from Pietro's.

Shane Wilson - Shane is a NY Yankees fan. He'd love to visit Maui where he was married and owned a timeshare.

Donald Lane - Donald likes to spend time wake surfing and RZR riding with his family. He would love to vacation anywhere tropical with a great beach. His go-to food is a ribeye steak, smoked and cooked on the Traeger.

Philip Castle - Phil loves hunting, boating and being outdoors. He believes there's no other music other than Country music. He would vacation in Arizona or the woods of any state if given the chance. His go-to food would be the biggest cowboy steak he could find.
