199 Registered! 84 Agencies Involved
Thank you to the Education and Training Committee for the work done to identify training needs of our members along with the presenters able to address those needs. They helped meet two of our association goals: provide excellent training to our association, and to carefully use the association's limited resources. They found ways to utilize cost-effective training while providing ways to bring in revenue for the association. Well done.

Here is what some of our members who attended had to say about Session #1:
"Dr. Bennett's presentation was Spot-on and engaging. I appreciate her background and presentation style!"
Tony Moore, Public Safety Director Chemeketa Community College
"The training provided by Dr. Michelle Bennett is an excellent reminder of what we all know is so very important within our respective organizations. It is incumbent upon us, as leaders, to not only demonstrate appropriate behavior but to hold all accountable and create a safe and respectful culture. Thank you Dr. Bennett for your work in this regard."
Cory Darling, Chief of Police Sunriver PD
"Great training and recommend for all levels of leaders. The kind of straightforward advice Dr. Bennett shared both confirmed and convicted me in several ways. She unpacked best practices and brought terms to life with solid examples, and did so in a professional way. Getting better at supervision takes effort, and her common sense stories with a sense of humor left many things to think about for me and our team members who attended."
Commander Robert Rogers Tigard PD
'''Don’t just complain, address the issue(s). This goes for everyone. When having a crucial conversation remember to inquire as to what may be leading to the issue at hand.' Excellent training."
Tanner Stanfill, Chief of Police Madras PD
"I appreciated Dr. Bennett’s thoughtful and common sense approach to dealing with problems and troubled employees in the work place. She provided good examples of scenarios and mixing in humor is always appreciated."
Lt. Don Cheli Hood River PD
